THE REVENGE OF THE REPLY BUTTON BOOSTERS

Deep in the sub-basement of Universal Studios is a secret dungeon.
The three inhabitants of that desolate prison are the most dreaded enemies of all Web Forumdom.

*Spooler* the fat jolly fiend who takes your post and swallows it whole hiding it perhaps for ever in its gross rolls of body fat.

*ThrottleMonster* the cleverly evil one who allows you to think you have posted successfully and then in very small sinister print informs you that not only has your message not been posted it has not been saved and you'll have to try again another time.

Heh, heh, heh!

And worst of all the unspeakably wicked *Big Delete*. He takes all your best work, your stories, your poems, your jokes, your conversations YOUR HISTORY, and eradicates them. Wipes the tapes clean so that no one will ever know they existed!

These evil terrors are caged now they can't reach you but they are feeding and getting stronger.
What do they eat?

Ask that small faithful band of jailers known as the Reply Button Boosters.

Bt. Chief Booster: "They feed on your New Topic Posts".

Amyrlin: Booster #2: "Yes, your NTP's. They can't eat your Reply Button Posts, only the NTP's."

Lasermn: Booster #3: "There getting bigger and stronger we won't be able to hold them back much longer".

Braelee: Booster #4: " Argh, please help us!"

Bt: "We can't hold out much longer! I'm going to have to do something real desperate!"

Lasermn & Amyrlin together: "No, no, <gasp> not that!"

Braelee: "Look out! that may be enough to set them free.

Lasermn: "I'm firing my *reply button laser* at them maybe that will help hold them in."

Amyrlin: [desperately]"I'm throwing my silent "Y" in!

Quick Braelee throw your bra at them!"

Braelee: "How many time do I have to explain, its not Bralee its Braelee , brae rhymes with ray."

Bt: " Here it comes the ultimate ironic weapon, A New Topic Post to warn the forum about the danger of New Topic Posts."

Will the Reply button Boosters prevail in their gallant struggle with Spooler, ThrottleMonster and *Big Delete*?

This little adventure first ran on the old ssr forum in October 1999. At that time the Reply Button Boosters were
four in number. We now have 81 and are always looking for more members. The only membership requirement is a pledge from you that you will, whenever possible, use the Reply Button.

Whenever you have a New topic to introduce by all means use a New Topic Post but for replies to others the Reply Button works just fine.

Several of our members have gone missing in action. If you hold numbers 49, 50, or51 please report to the commander. If you've *gasp* forgotten your number please check the list below.
